O.K. So here's the promised tutorial for my way of making feathered wings out of polyclay. It was quite a hard work to get everything together. On top of it, it was even more complicated than I thought. I had a hard time to decide which steps need an exact photo and which could just be explained. But I hope I got everything you need to know.

I would love you to death, if you can leave a comment what is good about the tutorial and what needs a better explanation.

I don't know how to work with Polyclay at all but I found your tutorial very simple and well explained. The pictures are just perfect with the explanation. I also liked how you put a comparison of what it should look like versus what it shouldn't, it helps a lot. Nice job, all tutorials should be this clear and concise. :)

I'm glad to hear that I didn't mess up the tutorial as I feared. I put a lot of effort into it and was afraid that it might have become too long. Besides my english is not that good so there might be some weird expressions or typos. ^^'

I'm happy to hear you like it. Hopefully you will be able to do some awesome wings with the help of it.
It was fun making it and I guess I did O.K. for my first tutorial, too.

And now I have time to start with the steampunk seahorse. ^^
